A donee is the party that is a beneficiary of something, typically real estate or personal property. A donee can also be entitled to receive assets through a trust. Oftentimes, the term might also be referring to a trustee that holds onto an asset on behalf of another.

A donee is any party that benefits from an agreement. In many instances, a donee may receive a gift or a donation.
